When you’re watching TV or browsing the internet, you often come across commercials, and I’m sure many of you have had a song from one of them get stuck in your head.

It’s a song that cheers you on to “go all in and take on challenges without worrying about appearances.” As the title suggests—“you’ve got to start by trying, and if you do it, do it wholeheartedly without holding back”—its direct message has surely encouraged many listeners.

The song was featured in a Rakuraku Cloud commercial depicting Kenichi Takitō, Natsuko Yokozawa, and Mone Kamishiraishi working hard in an office.

The music playing in the background of the Furukawa Electric commercial aired in December 2025 is an original piece created for the ad by Taro Kawahara’s solo project, TENDRE.

In fact, this isn’t the first time a TENDRE track has been used in a Furukawa Electric commercial—it also happened in 2024.

The piece used this time is an instrumental arrangement of the track featured in 2024.

It’s a standout tune with a stylish guitar melody line that leaves a strong impression.

The song was used in a Universal Music commercial that aired in December 2025.

Released in 2006, it was also used as the theme song for the film Honey and Clover, which came out the same year.

Lila Ikuta’s “Latata” was released in 2025 and was used in a Yamazaki Baking Lunch Pack commercial featuring Fuka Koshiba.

Its bouncy rhythm and layered vocals are striking, and their refreshing lightness conveys a positive message.

The lyrics depict the everyday scenes around us and the connections between people, offering encouragement to move forward just as we are.

The commercial straightforwardly shows Fuka Koshiba enjoying a Lunch Pack, with visuals that portray the joy that comes from its delicious taste.

“Kuchibiru yo, Atsuku Kimi o Katare” is a song by Machiko Watanabe released in 1980.

It was used in a Kanebo commercial at the time of its release and was brought back again starting in 2020.

In the 2026 spot titled “Living is always a work in progress,” Shiho Ochi of Superfly appears.

The first half features a brass arrangement of “Kuchibiru yo, Atsuku Kimi o Katare” as the BGM, and in the second half you can hear Ochi’s singing.

It’s only a single phrase, but her voice conveys not just strength, but also gentleness and warmth.
