Toyota commercial roundup: a collection of stylish, premium-feel ads (41–50)
Toyota FuncargoHanako Aikawa

This commercial, with the perfectly fitting catchphrase “What do you do?”, is spot on.
The car’s name is “Funcargo”—the first part, “Fun,” obviously means enjoyable, but what about the latter “Cargo”? That’s the English word “cargo,” meaning freight, and it highlights the car’s selling point: its spacious interior.
In the ad, people are shown creating their own free, personalized spaces inside the car—ironing, making pizza, and more.
Rikako Aikawa, who delivers a comical performance in the commercial, is still active today as a voice actor, actress, and narrator—definitely worth keeping an eye on!
Aichi Toyota Bringing more and more “That was great!” to this city. “Launch” version / “Feelings in the Song” versionTakanori Iwata

This commercial, styled like a radio program, features Takanori Iwata from Aichi Prefecture introducing the appeal and passion of Aichi Toyota.
Through Iwata’s gentle narration, it clearly conveys Aichi Toyota’s wish to create a city filled with voices saying “That was great,” overlapping with scenes of people connecting.
The calm sound of the song “Hand in Hand” by Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS also carries a direct sense of warmth.
CROWN “Urban Night” Version

The Crown could be called the face of Toyota’s passenger cars.
Within Toyota’s lineup, it’s the epitome of the mainstream! It has been sold for many years, continually evolving in form while maintaining its popularity.
Many men have probably admired it at least once.
The song playing here is an original piece created specifically for this commercial.
Doesn’t it evoke both the history dating back to 1955 and the spirit of a new generation?
RAV4 “Anthem” Version

Have you ever heard this commercial song that’s so laid-back yet strangely captivating? The track playing in Toyota’s RAV4 “Anthem” commercial is sung by YO-KING from Magokoro Brothers, and it was written specifically for this ad.
For now, there’s no full version and it hasn’t been released.
The relaxed, outdoorsy vibe pairs perfectly with YO-KING’s easygoing vocals, doesn’t it? It’s a CM song I truly hope to hear in full someday—and see included on an album.
SIENTA “We did something great!” Version

In the 2022 commercial for the new Sienta that became a hot topic for its adorable, energetic dog, a bright and catchy track with striking brass sounds was used.
The composer is Yoshihide Otomo, who is active as a composer and musician, and the music was created specifically for this commercial.
Since the Sienta is a model aimed at families, the commercial depicts scenes of family outings.
The music is also a cute and cheerful piece that perfectly matches the content and vibe of the CM’s direction, making you imagine a family happily heading out with the Sienta.
