Funny commercials [June 2025] (1–10)

Toyama Prefecture Fufufu “Toyama’s Masterpiece” version and behind-the-scenes footage.NEW!Fumino Kimura

Fumino Kimura screams in full-on Toyama dialect at her friend! Adorably hides her embarrassment with a pose — New ‘Fufufu’ commercial, “Toyama’s Masterpiece” edition & making-of

In the commercial introducing Toyama-grown rice, Fufufu, Fumino Kimura lets out a passionate shout in the Toyama dialect! Kimura appears as a rice farmer, and when a friend doubts how tasty Fufufu is by asking, “Is that rice really good?”, she yells, “Just try it once—you’ll see it’s totally different!” The moment she snaps back to herself, realizes she went too far, and shyly holds her head is also memorable.

It’s a commercial where you can enjoy Kimura’s rich range of expressions.

Nissin Foods Complete Meal “Soro-ya, the Knowledgeable Gal” versionNEW!

NISSIN Kanzen Meshi TV commercial “The Super-Into-It Gal” 30-second version

This commercial uses a comedic, train-set animation to convey what makes Complete Meal so outstanding.

A Nissin employee struggles with advertising, when a gyaru nearby starts passionately explaining how amazing Complete Meal is.

She’s so knowledgeable that they suggest she become an influencer—only for her to firmly turn it down.

Overall, it has a light, breezy tone.

Nissin Foods Complete Meal “Let’s Have a Sense of Urgency” VersionNEW!Shohei Nagata

NISSIN Complete Meal “Let’s Get a Sense of Urgency” Version / Chocolate Planet

This commercial features an influencer delivering a passionate, somewhat familiar-sounding message, highlighting that Kanzen-Meshi supports your hard work.

Osada plays the influencer, while Matsuo appears as the person doing their best, creating a slightly comedic vibe.

The content conveys the hope that people will aim for delicious health and turn it into the strength to keep going.

Mobility Technologies Taxi App GO “GO-ing! On a Tiring Day” VersionNEW!Yoh Yoshida

“GO it! On a Tiring Day” Version 30s | Taxi App ‘GO’

This commercial highlights how the GO taxi app is especially convenient in situations where getting around feels difficult, making everyday life more comfortable.

It shows Yō Yoshida’s family after enjoying a theme park, looking too tired to move easily.

They order a taxi with GO, demonstrating that not only the kids but also the adults can get some rest.

The attempt to keep the children from falling asleep adds a touch of humor to the scene.

Mobility Technologies Taxi App GO “Let’s GO! The Agony of Accounting” EditionNEW!Yutaka Takenouchi, Yō Yoshida

“GO It! The Agony of Accounting” Version 30 Seconds | GO BUSINESS / Taxi App ‘GO’

This is a commercial that depicts interactions at a company between Yutaka Takenouchi and Yō Yoshida, conveying the difficulties of taxis and accounting, and promoting how convenient GO is.

It develops from the struggle with a taxi receipt that doesn’t list the destination into a conversation between childhood friends, showing that good rapport alone can’t solve accounting issues.

That’s exactly when GO is useful, introducing features that are helpful for companies, such as enabling centralized management of taxi expenses.

Japan Frito-Lay Mic Popcorn “Caramel” Version / “Hitorijime (All to Myself)” VersionNEW!

These are humorous commercials depicting a boy delighted after buying lots of Mike Popcorn.

In both spots, a boy appears dancing with bags of Mike Popcorn in both hands, and his family, noticing him, starts talking to him.

In the “Caramel” version, his grandfather asks, “Where’s mine?” and the boy reacts begrudgingly; in the “All for Me” version, when someone says, “Lucky you,” he responds while out of breath.

Both have a subtly absurd tone that’ll make you chuckle.

Hoken no Madoguchi “Mr. Ichihara: His Public and Private Sides” EditionNEW!Hayato Ichihara, Sakura Inoue

Hoken no Madoguchi CM: “Mr. Ichihara, Front and Back” Version

Hayato Ichihara appears as an employee of Hoken no Madoguchi, promoting the company’s commitment to honest service.

What’s interesting is the creative device used to convey this: as the CM title suggests, two versions of Ichihara—front and back—appear.

While it’s common to think that a person’s public face and private side have different thoughts, the two Ichiharas in this commercial say, “We mostly feel the same,” emphasizing that there’s no two-facedness.

The reversal of expectations makes for an impactful presentation.

The final gag, where he says “The chair is broken” and keeps spinning around, is also funny and memorable.
