Funny Commercials [June 2025] (31–40)
Nissin Foods Complete Meal “Let’s Have a Sense of Urgency” VersionShohei Nagata

This commercial features an influencer delivering a passionate, somewhat familiar-sounding message, highlighting that Kanzen-Meshi supports your hard work.
Osada plays the influencer, while Matsuo appears as the person doing their best, creating a slightly comedic vibe.
The content conveys the hope that people will aim for delicious health and turn it into the strength to keep going.
Hoken no Madoguchi “Mr. Ichihara: His Public and Private Sides” EditionHayato Ichihara, Sakura Inoue

Hayato Ichihara appears as an employee of Hoken no Madoguchi, promoting the company’s commitment to honest service.
What’s interesting is the creative device used to convey this: as the CM title suggests, two versions of Ichihara—front and back—appear.
While it’s common to think that a person’s public face and private side have different thoughts, the two Ichiharas in this commercial say, “We mostly feel the same,” emphasizing that there’s no two-facedness.
The reversal of expectations makes for an impactful presentation.
The final gag, where he says “The chair is broken” and keeps spinning around, is also funny and memorable.
Nissin Foods Complete Meal “Forbidden Bed Meal” VersionShohei Nagata

This commercial features Mr.
Osada from Chocolate Planet playing a woman who can’t quit eating in bed, using her behavior to show just how easy “Kanzen Meshi” is.
It clearly conveys that if there’s a microwave nearby, you can make it without leaving the bed much—and still get excellent nutritional balance.
The scene where she uses a grabber tool to avoid getting out of bed no matter what is pretty comical, isn’t it?
Japan Frito-Lay Mic Popcorn “Caramel” Version / “Hitorijime (All to Myself)” Version

These are humorous commercials depicting a boy delighted after buying lots of Mike Popcorn.
In both spots, a boy appears dancing with bags of Mike Popcorn in both hands, and his family, noticing him, starts talking to him.
In the “Caramel” version, his grandfather asks, “Where’s mine?” and the boy reacts begrudgingly; in the “All for Me” version, when someone says, “Lucky you,” he responds while out of breath.
Both have a subtly absurd tone that’ll make you chuckle.
Nissin Foods Nissin Donbei “Mornings go Don! Don-do-don!” EditionHollywood Zakoshisyoh

This commercial, featuring Hollywood Zakoshisyoh, is for Nissin’s Donbei, and the direction and song probably feel familiar, don’t they? In fact, it’s a parody—or rather a complete recreation—of Fujipan’s “Honshikomi” commercial! Hollywood Zakoshisyoh’s over-the-top performance, which you’d never expect to be recreating Yuki Matsushita from the Honshikomi ads, is guaranteed to make you laugh.
By the way, Fujipan’s official account brought up this ad on X, and among viewers there’s growing anticipation that “Fujipan might parody Nissin’s commercial next.”
Funny Commercials [June 2025] (41–50)
Uber Eats — Even during hay fever season, why not go with Uber Eats? “Hay Fever” VersionRiisa Naka, Akinori Nakao

This commercial conveys the message that Uber Eats is especially recommended when it’s hard to go outside—we want you to enjoy delicious food at home.
Here, the scenario focuses on pollen season as a time when going out is difficult, depicting how a sudden sneeze could lead to trouble.
With just one sneeze from Riisa Naka, mishaps cascade like dominoes, and in the end, Akiyoshi Nakao gets soaked trying to save a stuffed toy.
The humor lies in the extreme portrayal that it’s better to use Uber Eats to prevent situations like this.
Kao Men’s Biore “Body Sheets PRO You Can Use on Your Face” AdMasaki Suda, Kai Inowaki

This commercial starts with Kai Inowaki asking Masaki Suda, “Do you have any body wipes?” In his head, Suda thinks, “I’ve got the good Men’s Biore ones that keep you feeling fresh for a long time, but I don’t want to use them up…” He agonizes over whether to let him use his body wipes.
Then, while pretending to look for them—“Where could they be…”—he finally just says, “Don’t have any.” It really gets across how comfortable they are—so much so you want to keep them all to yourself.
On top of the humorous story, Suda’s Kansai dialect adds an extra touch of friendliness.
