[Mecha-Comic TV Commercial] 15 seconds, Tons of Free Content “New Year Edition” Aired in December 2025

In this commercial, Nagano-san appears from the side of the screen and introduces one title after another available on Mecha Comic.

The reason Nagano-san is facing sideways is to match the viewpoint of viewers who are lying down and looking at their screens during the New Year holidays, which makes for a humorous touch.

The unusual composition of the footage is highly impactful, resulting in a commercial that sticks in your mind after just one viewing.

7‑Eleven “Shall I heat it up?” VersionSho Sakurai, Masaki Aiba, Yuki Amami

TV Commercial 'Shall I heat it up?' 60 seconds

This commercial depicts Sho Sakurai and Masaki Aiba playing aliens working part-time at 7-Eleven, practicing Earth’s language.

They’re working on the essential convenience-store register phrase, “Would you like me to heat this up?” But their awkward attempt—‘Atatakamemasuka?’—stands out, and their earnest practice comes across as endearing.

The phrase “May we become someone’s warm place” appears, conveying the desire to be not just a store, but a presence that supports customers.

Career Design Center type Kansai × Engineer “Hyper Tooth” EditionAudrey

Job Change Site type TV Commercial (Kansai × Engineer) Hyper Tooth

This commercial shows Kasuga strongly affirming that changing jobs to improve your skills is a great thing, and appeals that type will support you in that.

Wakabayashi is bothered by Kasuga’s somewhat condescending affirmation, leading to a discussion about whether Kasuga himself is actually upskilling.

It ends comically with Kasuga deflecting using a gag, and the overall cheerful tone gives the impression of highlighting the positive side of changing jobs.

Y!mobile “The New Plan is a Great Deal” / “Unlimited Domestic Calls are a Great Deal for Ages 60+” / “Get the Latest Models for Less with the New Value Support” / “Save While Keeping Your Current Smartphone”

In this commercial, the store manager and the duo Batterys introduce the benefits of Y!mobile, highlighting that there are plans tailored to each user.

It showcases a new plan with more data, unlimited domestic calls for those aged 60 and over, great deals on the latest models, and the ability to keep using your current smartphone—illustrating support for a wide range of users.

The lively back-and-forth of Batterys’ boke and tsukkomi also conveys a positive, approachable vibe that encourages people to try it out casually.

Y!mobile “Simple 3 Plans” / “Great Value with Large Data 3 L” / “Great Value with Large Data 3 M”

This commercial features the two members of Batterys appearing as Y!mobile staff, conveying its appeal through casual conversation.

The basic flow is Jike explaining things to Ace, and the way Ace doesn’t seem to fully grasp the explanation is played for comedy.

It also conveys that there are many subtle advantages—so many that Ace can’t immediately understand them—and that there are plans tailored to different ways of using the service.

The key point is the lively back-and-forth between the character and the director, conveying the happy New Year vibe and the fun of the first sale of the year.

With humorous lines like “Curry is great, but Nishimatsuya,” it focuses on rhythm to convey a sense of fun.
