Lion’s commercial song. Popular commercial songs (1–10)
Take it easy.Imawano Kiyoshirō

This is a TV commercial for the energy drink Guronsan, which was transferred from Chugai Pharmaceutical to LION.
While many people strongly associate Junji Takada as the brand’s image character, in 2004 none other than Kiyoshiro Imawano served as the image character.
Song of SpringFujihara Sakura

This is the commercial song for the film March Comes in Like a Lion, sponsored by Lion.
Originally sung by Spitz, Haru no Uta (Spring Song) is covered here by Sakura Fujiwara.
March Comes in Like a Lion is said to be the story of a young professional shogi player who lost his family in a traffic accident when he was a child and carries emotional scars, growing through school club activities and his interactions with various people.
With a title like that, you can’t imagine anyone but Lion as the sponsor, right?
Bolero

This is the “Small Detergent, Big Job” version of LION’s “Top Ultra-Compact Detergent.” It uses Ravel’s masterpiece, Boléro.
The bass sounds convey the vibration of a drum-type washing machine, making viewers likely think it must be a detergent that cleans remarkably well.

Viva! Angelremonpai

Lemon Pie, who sang this song, was a Japanese male idol group band that debuted in 1975 on Elec Records and also appeared in commercials.
The group’s name was chosen through a public call for submissions in the idol magazine “Jogakusei no Tomo.” They held a breakup concert at Shibuya Kokaido in 1979 and disbanded, but it is said they held a reunion live in 2006.
PicnicNAOTO

This is the “Pension Kaorigaoka” episode of Lion’s “Scent-Lasting TOP” series.
Ellie Toyoda and Brother Tom appear as a married couple with a significant age difference.
An instrumental arrangement of the classic song “Picnic” is used, giving it an uplifting feel that makes your heart skip with joy.
Swallowtail Butterfly ~Song of Love~Chara

Originally, this was the theme song for the film Swallowtail, distributed by Nippon Herald Films and starring Chara, and it was released in 1996.
Twenty-two years later, in 2018, it was used as the CM song for Lion’s Soflan fabric softener.
We’ll hug each other with joy (cover)YU-KI

The LION NONIO commercial featuring model Rola uses YUKI’s song “Ureshikute Dakiau Yo” (“We Embrace Each Other with Joy”).
In the ad, many people, including Rola, sing it together like a chorus.
The song was released in 2010, before the commercial aired.
It conveys that with the presence of “you” in every moment of life, anything can feel happy.
It’s a warm and gentle number that sings about joyful times with a loved one.
YUKI’s soft voice and the song’s melody are so soothing.
It makes you want to see that special someone right away.
