Songs That Make You Want to Run: Music for Running and Jogging. Motivational Tracks! (41–50)
DropoutSEKAI NO OWARI

This piece, marked by beautiful electro sounds filtered through a distinctively Japanese EDM sensibility, is a fan favorite released in June 2020.
From their early days, they stood out with a hybrid style blending rock and electronic elements, and through continued new approaches, they’ve finally arrived at this culmination.
The refined, contemporary sound and phrases are striking, while the audible guitar tones within it are equally captivating.
And of course, Fukase’s clear, translucent vocals deserve special attention! Its mystical timbre will add color to your run.
RUN☆RUN☆RUNHIGH and MIGHTY COLOR

A song released by HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR in 2005 as their third major single.
As the title suggests, it’s an ideal track to listen to while running.
With its refreshing tempo and a star symbol featured in the title that adds a playful vibe, it seems particularly well-suited for light jogging.
RewriteASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION

This song was used as the opening theme for the anime Fullmetal Alchemist.
It gradually shifts into higher gear from the first verse and explodes at the chorus.
Its cool, rock-tinged band sound will hit you in the chest and should help your running hit its stride.
That said, don’t let the catchy groove tempt you into pushing the pace too hard.
GO!!!FLOW

This is a song that was also used as an opening theme for the anime NARUTO.
From the very beginning it kicks into high gear and sprints straight through.
With elements like rap and chorus, it’s crafted to keep you engaged, letting you see all sorts of scenes within the track.
Its upbeat vibe also makes it great for running.
BeautifulSuperfly

Superfly boasts overwhelming vocal power and singing ability.
Even though she’s a very petite woman, this is one of those songs where you’re blown away by her soaring volume.
While Superfly’s slower numbers that let you savor her vocals are great too, I still recommend this track because it’s bright and makes you feel like you’re bursting through the sky!
The First Steprakkuraifu

A track by the four-piece rock band Luck Life, used as the opening theme for the TV anime Cheer Boys!!.
With frequent use of backbeat snare hits in the verses and chorus, it creates a driving sense of speed, while its positive lyrics encourage you to keep moving forward.
It also features the unusual choice of a bass solo during the interlude, making it the kind of song whose sound grabs your attention and helps distract from the strain even while running.
RUNGLAY

A song that was released as a new track at the time on Disc 3 of GLAY’s best-of album “THE GREAT VACATION VOL.1 ~SUPER BEST OF GLAY~,” which came out in 2009.
At the large-scale concert held at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their major debut, it also drew major attention when vocalist TERU sang this song while running along the 360-degree runway surrounding the stage.
