Released in 2008 as Kumi Koda’s 42nd single, this song was featured in an au LISMO commercial and in a commercial for Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications’ Walkman Phone Xmini (W65S).

It’s a ballad that portrays a woman’s feelings as she thinks of a lover now far away and wishes she could “go back to those days.”

It’s the title track included on Hitomi Shimatani’s fourth original album, “Tsuioku + LOVE LETTER,” released in 2004.

The music video features directing elements that link with the PV for “ANGELUS -Angelus-.” It was used as the campaign song for KDDI’s “PLAY MUSIC! PLAY au!” and the mobile phone featured in the PV was au’s W11K.

The song used in au’s Google Pixel commercial “#WhatWillYouDo Youth – Youth Calendar” is “Aoi in the Classroom,” sung by virtual YouTuber Suisei Hoshimachi.

HoneyWorks and MARUMOCHI worked on the lyrics, composition, and arrangement.

The lyrics depict the fun, youthful days spent with beloved friends, feelings of gratitude toward them, a determination to keep striving into the future, and the genuine emotions of students on the verge of graduation.

The fresh, fast-paced melody is also memorable, adding an extra touch of poignancy to scenes of impending farewells.

Gods and BuddhasShiina Ringo

A track that was used as the commercial song for au’s “isai vivid,” in which Ringo Sheena herself also appeared.

Hidetoshi Mukai of ZAZEN BOYS—whom Sheena has long been a fan of—joins in with a rap.

With the use of traditional Japanese instruments, it unfolds a tricky “Ringo world” that captivates listeners!

It was also used as the CM song for the “au loves Ghibli” campaign.
