And the fact that there are so many shampoos means there are just as many commercials being aired!

In the Ichikami commercial featuring Haruna Kawaguchi, the product is introduced to the rhythm of the famous intro to “BE MY BABY.” The song is by COMPLEX, a duo consisting of singer Koji Kikkawa and guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei.

Although it was released in 1989, many people may have heard it through the Ichikami commercial and other media.

Yama’s song “Sekai wa Utsukushii Hazu Nanda” has been selected as the CM song for Essential THE BEAUTY’s “Hair Texture Beauty Series Declaration.” It’s a grand track that evokes a sense of hope for what lies ahead.

The Ichikami commercial featuring Haruna Kawaguchi’s lively performance is striking.

For a shampoo ad, it’s unusually impactful and comical.

The song used in the Ichikami CM is “Awa Our Music” by the band Yabai T-Shirts Yasan, also known as “Yaba-T.” Up to the pre-chorus it has a heavy metal vibe, but the chorus turns comical and approachable, making the dynamics alone fun to listen to.

With wordplay and a playful spirit throughout, it’s a track brimming with creativity.

This is a commercial for Ichikami featuring members of HANA dressed in costumes inspired by traditional Japanese clothing.

The BGM uses “Bloom,” a song about moving forward in one’s own way.

P&G Pantene Zexy collaboration commercial

PANTENE cm (2005)

Toko Furuuchi’s “Beautiful days,” memorable as a Pantene commercial song, was also used as the background music for a collaborative commercial with Zexy that aired in 2008.

Furuuchi’s gentle, warm voice and lyrics that inspire self-confidence perfectly match the content of the ad.

The commercial features a Zexy reader model experiencing a 14-day hair care routine using Pantene, with a slideshow of photos from before the wedding up to the wedding day.

It’s a heartwarming commercial that warms you just by watching it.
