There’s an anecdote that the French line in the lyrics—something like “Won’t you join me tonight?”—ran afoul of the moral standards of the time, and she ultimately wasn’t allowed to sing it on NHK.

The song also incorporates Chinese, showcasing EPO’s playful spirit throughout.

The track itself has a very cheerful vibe and could be called quintessential Showa-era kayōkyoku.

It beautifully captures the feeling of a new romance in spring, and I think its worldbuilding will really move you.
