It’s a dream-filled ad carrying the message: cherish what you love and live true to it.
The character design for this commercial was created by Mika Pikazo, known for illustrating and designing characters for numerous light novels and games.

CUP NOODLES “HUNGRY DAYS Final Episode” Edition

The final episode of Cup Noodles’ “HUNGRY DAYS” commercial series, which has collaborated with titles like Kiki’s Delivery Service and Sazae-san.
As a meteor draws near and the end of the world approaches, the ad portrays a high school couple confirming their feelings for each other one last time.
The boyfriend wants to hear a clear “I like you,” while the girlfriend teases him, creating a heart-fluttering story that feels quintessentially youthful.
The character designs are by Eisaku Kubonouchi, known for the in-film anime character concepts in the movie “Anime Supremacy!” and the manga “Chocolat,” which was also adapted into a drama.
The characters are voiced by Taku Yashiro and An Ogawa, with narration by Megumi Hayashibara.
Marukome Restaurant-Style Taste: ‘Summer Vacation Memories’ Edition

The nostalgic commercial song makes an appearance in Marukome’s Restaurant Taste miso soup commercial, “Summer Vacation Memories.” It recalls the memory of miso soup eaten every summer break, made with Grandma’s handmade tofu.
As time passes, the woman, now a grandmother herself, wants to serve her daughter and grandchildren the same delicious miso soup made from tofu she prepares by hand.
The commercial warmly depicts her making the soup.

Nissin Foods Cup Noodles “More Toppings” Version

This is a commercial that promotes the fact that Cup Noodles BIG now has more toppings, using a distinctive animation where the ingredients scurry around.
Centered on the mystery meat and imitation crab, many toppings crawl out of the cup, and even their size grows, expressing the extra value with a horror vibe.
The element that gives this comical animation its horror atmosphere is a parody of the song “feels like HEAVEN ~Kitto Kuru Kitto Kuru~.” It’s the well-known theme from the horror film “Ring,” and thanks to the movie’s image, it conjures the fear of an unknown presence drawing near.
The lyrics have been adapted to be about the increase in toppings, but since the melody is unchanged, it still feels tense, doesn’t it?
Tact Home Co., Ltd.

A commercial for real estate company Takuto Home Co., Ltd.
that shines a spotlight on its diverse staff.
The CM was produced by PROOX, a video and film production company with a track record that includes commercials for LOCONDO and FamilyMart.
It features staff who handle house planning and design, staff who build homes on-site undaunted by the elements, and staff who serve as intermediaries between those teams and customers.
The commercial portrays how all of these people work together to build a single home.
Words overflow in anime. A Netflix Special Animation.

Netflix’s commercial “Netflix Special Animation Where Words Overflow in Anime” features a ton of anime! The footage is made up of scenes from a variety of genres available on Netflix, such as Summer Wars, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Baki Hanma.
Here and there, original animation is inserted showing people recommending those shows to friends with a “Watch this!” or chatting like “We absolutely have to watch the finale!” At first glance it might look like they simply stitched together clips from various shows, but in fact the visuals subtly sync with the commercial’s theme song playing in the background! For example, during the initial “Watch this!” plea, the anime clip also shows a character bowing in some way.
The CM song is performed by the virtual singer Rime.
Pawnshop Tamaya: ‘Entrusted Feelings’ Edition

This commercial, drawn on such an epic scale that you might think an anime has just begun, is Tamaya Pawn Shop’s “Entrusted Feelings” episode.
The director, storyboard artist, and character designer is Yoshihiro Kanno, known for supervising action animation on the Sword Art Online series and for crafting action scenes across various anime.
The story grandly portrays the protagonist, who entrusts their precious pendant to the pawn shop until the battle ends, as they face a range of threats.
The feelings entrusted to the pendant are carried forward by the protagonist’s resolve to keep fighting…
It’s the kind of visuals and story that make you want to keep watching, far too good to remain just a commercial.
