The director, storyboard artist, and character designer is Yoshihiro Kanno, known for supervising action animation on the Sword Art Online series and for crafting action scenes across various anime.
The story grandly portrays the protagonist, who entrusts their precious pendant to the pawn shop until the battle ends, as they face a range of threats.
The feelings entrusted to the pendant are carried forward by the protagonist’s resolve to keep fighting…

Daido Life: ‘Asako Hirooka – The Catalyst’ Edition

The commercial “Asako Hirooka: The ‘Turning Point’,” featuring Asako Hirooka—one of the founders of Daido Life and the subject of the NHK morning drama Asadora “Asa ga Kita”—highlights her story.
After a serious illness prompted her to conceive of life insurance, Hirooka champions its importance and goes on to establish Daido Life.

Francois Slow Bread: Home-Made Levain Method

The commercial “Homemade Levain Method” for François’s Slow Bread, sold mainly in Kyushu, was created by animator Yoshiharu Sato, who has served as animation director for Studio Ghibli works and the World Masterpiece Theater series.
In the ad, a little girl who visits a bakery with her mother notices a mysterious fairy-like creature inside the bread.
She chases after the fairy, which quickly disappears, and follows it into the kitchen—only to see it enter the bread dough.
The fairy’s true identity is levain, an essential starter for making bread.
The commercial introduces the product by explaining that the bread is made with natural yeast plus a homemade levain method.
Marukome Ryotei no Aji “My Grandmother” Version

This is an animated commercial based on the story of a Marukome employee’s grandmother.
A female employee sent Marukome miso soup to her 97-year-old grandmother who lives alone.
In response, the grandmother emailed to say thank you and wrote about how delighted she was.
The employee talks about how, although her grandmother lives energetically on her own, she’s increasingly worried as there are more things her grandmother can’t do by herself.
The grandmother, meanwhile, says that even though she relies on help from those around her, she’s happy to be cared for by her granddaughter like this.

Yamagata Nissan Group: “We love Yamagata, we love cars.”

A star-studded team who worked on titles like Your Name, Jujutsu Kaisen, and the Pretty Cure series participated in creating Yamagata Nissan Group’s commercial, “I Love Yamagata, I Love Cars.” The ad portrays various memories of the protagonist, Hikari, centered around cars: the Hanagasa Festival she was taken to by car as a child, Ginzan Onsen she visited with friends after getting her license, and more.
Now, having made so many memories with cars, Hikari finds herself on the other side—selling them.
It’s a commercial that depicts the life of a woman who sells the cars she loves in the hometown she loves: Yamagata.
