Takemoto Piano “About a Certain Place in the Kinki Region” Collaboration VersionNEW!
These commercials are based on the 2024 versions of the “More and More” and “Round and Round” spots, but they are collaboration commercials with the film “About a Certain Place in the Kinki Region” that aired in 2025.
While both commercials are the same as the 2024 versions from the beginning through the middle, the endings feature special collaborative touches, such as the line “Please watch the movie” and footage from the film.
Thelema
Cerema is a company based in Kyoto that handles weddings and funerals.
Its commercials are known for a distinctive jingle, and many people from the Kansai region can’t help but sing along when it comes on.
The clear vocals and flowing melody are beautiful, while the largely meaningless lyrics make it oddly addictive.
Oumi Housing
Oumi Housing is a housing-related company in Shiga Prefecture.
This commercial really sticks in your ear.
Appearing in it are actor Toshio Kurosawa and comedian Punch Mitsuo.
Punch is dressed like a construction worker while Kurosawa seems to be directing, and they dance together cheerfully—a CM that sucks you in precisely because it makes no sense.
That very absurdity is addictive and keeps you coming back.
Beloved in the Kansai region for many years, this single commercial significantly boosted Oumi Housing’s name recognition.
Tonkatsu KYK
In this commercial, after three women each say a single syllable—“K,” “Y,” “K”—the trio together lets out a sultry “Mmm!” It’s the signature phrase of the Tonkatsu KYK ads, a jingle every Kansai resident has likely seen and probably repeated at least once.
While Tonkatsu KYK commercials seem to date back to the late 1960s, the format featuring three women saying the phrase began with the “Three Daughters” edition in 1980.
In the latest version, the “Kurobuta Tonkatsu” edition airing since April 2022, the trio represents the fourth generation of “Three Daughters.”
Hiyoshi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
There may be more people from the Kansai region than you’d expect who recognize this commercial jingle but don’t know what product it’s for.
Some of you have probably even hummed along without knowing the lyrics.
In fact, the commercial is for a medicine called Kiohgan, sold by Hiyash Pharmaceutical.
Kiohgan is a remedy for infants’ and toddlers’ conditions like kan-no-mushi (irritability) and diarrhea, and the lyrics mention symptoms such as night crying and kan-no-mushi.
Takemoto Piano AI Dance “Everyone Together in a Circle” VersionNEW!
This is a renewed commercial that keeps the long-beloved Takemoto Piano jingle while updating the visuals with AI.
This version features a gentle arrangement of the music, matched by a surreal world where a giraffe in a tuxedo performs a relaxed dance.
The appearance of a giraffe playing the piano highlights the piano itself, while the telephone in the background underscores the desire for viewers to make inquiries by phone.

Takahashi DevelopmentShigeru Matsuzaki
Takahashi Kaihatsu is a real estate company headquartered in Hirakata City, Osaka.
Their TV commercial song sung by Shigeru Matsuzaki makes a strong impact; with its thick sound and outstanding vocals, it conveys the idea of an ideal home.
The song’s quality is so high that it’s almost hard to register what the commercial is actually for—which is part of its charm.
The setup, where Shigeru Matsuzaki walks into a family’s home singing and the family looks bewildered, is also unique.
The final phrase introducing Takahashi Kaihatsu shifts to a lighter tone compared to the preceding vocals, ensuring that the company name alone sticks firmly in your ears.
