Snack commercials compilation: from the latest to nostalgic ads (71–80)
Mars Japan Limited SNICKERS Adult Bitter “Paint” Version

This is a commercial styled like an interview with a man who works at a painting company.
He says, “When I get hungry, I zone out and end up making mistakes,” and in his daze he accidentally sprays paint on his boss.
The way he sprays with a blank expression—and with such force—almost feels refreshing, doesn’t it? (LOL) The first time he sprays pink paint, the second time green, and in the end he’s handed a dismissal.
Mars Japan Limited SNICKERS “PEANUTS BOY” versionIke Nwala, Hitoshi Ozawa

This is a commercial depicting a story called “Peanut Boy,” a parody of the folktale Momotaro.
The protagonist, Peanut Boy, is played by Ike Nwala, and the result is a striking video in which he sings and shows off his dance moves.
The demon that Peanut Boy defeats is played by Hitoshi Ozawa.
Despite his terrifying appearance—his face painted bright red and even sporting horns—Ozawa also breaks into a dance, making for an amusingly surreal turn of events.
With the high energy maintained from start to finish, I bet many viewers couldn’t help but burst out laughing.
Mars Japan Limited HIPHOP Snickers Ryofu Karuma Edition, First ReleaseRyofu Karma

This commercial featuring rapper Ryofu Karma portrays a scenario where one friend in the group “turns into Ryofu Karma” when he gets hungry.
When someone suggests, “Let’s go clothes shopping before we eat,” Ryofu snaps, suddenly starts rapping, and drops a scathing punchline: “Fill your belly before you dress up your exterior.” When they hand him a Snickers, their friend returns to normal—though his Ryofu-Karma-style look, with sunglasses and slicked-back hair, is hilariously hard to forget.
Mars Japan Limited SNICKERS “Cheering” VersionYasutaro Matsuki

In this commercial depicting a trio of men watching a soccer match, the premise is that one of them “turns into Yasutaro Matsuki when he gets hungry.” The man who transforms into Matsuki is the junior member of the group, and he watches the game while saying, “Sor-ry! Sor-ry!” His behavior evokes Matsuki’s signature commentary style—often called “Matsuki-isms”—and you can see the senior members getting a bit fed up as the junior’s excitement keeps ramping up.
It’s a longer spot running over two minutes, so it’s definitely worth watching!
Mars Japan Limited SNICKERS “Sharp-Tongued Idol” VersionAsuka Saito

In this commercial, they use an unexpected setup: “Asuka Saito turns sharp-tongued when she’s hungry.” While three guys are gaming and boasting, “We’re having so much fun gaming we don’t even need girlfriends!”, Saito cuts in with a deadpan, “You guys have never had girlfriends, have you?” Hearing that, their hyped-up mood instantly deflates, and the guys shrink back.
Saito tries to press the attack, but the three cut her off to protect themselves.
The banter between the guys and Saito is funny, of course, and the premise of Saito being brutally sharp-tongued is also hilarious and sure to get laughs.
KitKat: Tell us who you stan!

This commercial introduces how KitKat comes in a variety of flavors and highlights the fun of choosing according to your preferences.
Members of JO1 appear in groups, dressed in outfits inspired by the packaging, conveying the excitement of having a range of flavor options.
The song that further enhances the vibe of the ad is JO1’s “Run&Go,” included as a B-side on their 2021 single “WANDERING.” The lyrics express a desire to go anywhere together with the wonderful you who is doing what you love and find enjoyable.
Carried by a refreshing melody, the message conveys a feeling of cheering on those who are giving their best.
Haagen-Dazs Vanilla: “Melts in a Second, Fragrant Vanilla” VersionTakeru Satoh

This scene shows Takeru Satoh eating Häagen-Dazs after a bath; it’s a vanilla-flavored commercial titled “Melts in a Second, Fragrant with Vanilla.” In addition to being the perfect ice cream to end the day, Satoh’s expressions clearly convey just how enticing its melt-in-your-mouth flavor is.
