“Jump”

A song by Queen, the British four-piece rock band whose popularity surged again in Japan thanks to the 2018 film Bohemian Rhapsody.
Despite being composed by guitarist Brian May, it features a tricky structure in which the guitar doesn’t appear until the outro solo, yet it remains one of Queen’s signature tracks that almost everyone has heard.
Built solely on the sound of stomping feet and handclaps so the audience can join in, the rhythm pattern is simple yet conveys a sense of forward momentum and the anticipation of creating something together, resulting in a track that truly makes your heart dance.
The Little Mermaid: Love Begins

The CM song for Pocari Sweat Ion Water featuring Kyoko Fukada as a mermaid is sung by Shanita, a singer active on the global stage.
Shanita is a highly skilled vocalist who has even joined major artists on their world tours.
In the commercial, she performs a cute, poppy song that perfectly matches the whimsical, fairy-tale world where a mermaid appears.
While the track itself is an original song made for the CM, her expressive performance leaves a strong impression in just a few dozen seconds, making you want to listen to more of Shanita’s music!

TV commercial 2003

“Sore ga Subete sa” is an upbeat number that perfectly matches the crisp summer climate.
Released in 2003 and well-known as a Pocari Sweat commercial song, it blends Masaharu Fukuyama’s refreshing vibe with his passionate energy in just the right way.
The song portrays the conflicts of a summer romance—Should I go for it? Should I hold back?—while also celebrating the importance of intuition.
It’s the kind of track that turns a sense of thrill into fun and amps up that fluttery, heart-pounding excitement.
Let’s enjoy the timing, the feeling, and the happening!
Pocari NEO Chorus: Our Summer

Since 2016, Pocari Sweat has collaborated with students through the Pocari Dance.
However, in 2020 students couldn’t gather in person, so they created a choral performance using selfie videos submitted by students on TikTok! The original song is by a band called “2,” known for its striking phrase, “Now!!” Centered around Yuki Shiotani, each participant sings from their own location and showcases their own dances and movements.
In 2020, a year when many things were given up or put on hold, the powerful voices of students living in the “now” are truly breathtaking.
Bathing in the Desert

This is the second single released in 1998 by the two-member music group PEPPERLAND ORANGE.
Risa Goto was chosen as the image girl for the commercial.
The song was written and composed by the vocalist, Makoto Sakuma.
In addition to being used in a Pocari Sweat commercial, it was also selected as the ending theme for TBS’s CDTV and as a commercial song for Canon’s NEW EOS Kiss, making them a music unit with high expectations for the future.
However, they went on hiatus in 1999, the year after their debut.
Otsuka Pharmaceutical Pocari Sweat “Spring Minuet” versionYoshida Yō, Suzuki Rio, Murata Miyu

It’s a cheerful commercial showing Yō Yoshida, Rio Suzuki, and Miyu Murata smiling as they play a minuet.
The way the light shines in is striking, and when they’re later shown holding Pocari Sweat, you can really feel the warmth of spring.
Because the communication centers on laughter, the sense of happiness feels even more emphasized.
Otsuka Pharmaceutical Pocari Sweat “Pocari Song” VersionYoshida Yō, Suzuki Rio, Murata Miyu

This is a Pocari Sweat commercial featuring Yoh Yoshida and Rio Suzuki as a mother-daughter duo, with Miyu Murata appearing as a neighborhood child.
Titled “Pocari no Uta” (The Pocari Song), this installment shows the three of them singing “Pocari no Uta” together to the guitar accompaniment played by Suzuki.
Amazingly, the song featured in the commercial was written and composed by Suzuki herself.
It’s a song with a gentle melody that feels very soothing, isn’t it?
