Funny Commercials [June 2025] (161–170)

Mars Japan Limited SNICKERS Adult Bitter “Paint” Version

SNICKERS Adult Bitter TV Commercial 'Paint' Version 15 Seconds

This is a commercial styled like an interview with a man who works at a painting company.

He says, “When I get hungry, I zone out and end up making mistakes,” and in his daze he accidentally sprays paint on his boss.

The way he sprays with a blank expression—and with such force—almost feels refreshing, doesn’t it? (LOL) The first time he sprays pink paint, the second time green, and in the end he’s handed a dismissal.

Mars Japan Limited SNICKERS “PEANUTS BOY” versionIke Nwala, Hitoshi Ozawa

Hitoshi Ozawa plays a tough-looking ogre in the American-style Momotaro?! Ike Nwala bursts out of a peanut as “PEANUTS BOY”! New Snickers web commercial: “PEANUTS BOY” edition

This is a commercial depicting a story called “Peanut Boy,” a parody of the folktale Momotaro.

The protagonist, Peanut Boy, is played by Ike Nwala, and the result is a striking video in which he sings and shows off his dance moves.

The demon that Peanut Boy defeats is played by Hitoshi Ozawa.

Despite his terrifying appearance—his face painted bright red and even sporting horns—Ozawa also breaks into a dance, making for an amusingly surreal turn of events.

With the high energy maintained from start to finish, I bet many viewers couldn’t help but burst out laughing.

Cygames Uma Musume Pretty Derby “Enrich the Island” VersionYutaka Take, Christophe Lemaire

Uma Musume: Pretty Derby - CM 'Enrich the Island' Edition

This commercial depicts Christophe Lemaire living a survival life on a remote island and eventually making his way to a town located on the island.

It’s an ad introducing Cygames’ game Uma Musume Pretty Derby’s new training scenario, “Welcome to the Uninhabited Island – DESIGN YOUR ISLAND -.” In the heart of the town—so grand you’d never expect it to be on an island—stands a gigantic, golden Yutaka Take.

The humorous direction, unexpected given the star-studded cast, makes this a commercial that’s sure to bring a smile.

AEON Card AEON Pay “Dawn” Version / “The Junior Who Believes” Version / “The Junior Who Still Believes” VersionTakayuki Yamada, Ryusei Yokohama

This is a commercial introducing the renewed AEON Pay.

The “Dawn” version highlights money-saving campaigns and convenience, while the “Trusting Junior” and “Still Trusting Junior” versions are styled like a quiz show, humorously depicting exchanges between Takayuki Yamada and Ryusei Yokohama.

It mixes humor with a clear presentation of the service’s features.

SatoFuru “Report” Edition / “What’s Your First Time?” EditionTokyo 03, Yumi Kawai

These are two commercials: the “Announcement” version, where Yumi Kawai reports to her senior, Mr.

Tsunoda, that she has started using Satofull, and the “What was your first?” version, where Mr.

Iizuka asks her what her first Satofull item was.

Mr.

Tsunoda’s exaggerated reactions to Ms.

Kawai’s statements—like when someone announces their marriage or lands a major contract—are particularly memorable.

SatoFuru: “Master Appears” VersionTokyo 03, Kenichi Endo

Hometown Tax site “Satofull” - “Master Appears” version

A delivery person played by Kenichi Endo arrives to drop off a package at the office where Mr.

Kakuta and Mr.

Iizuka work.

Endo calls out to Mr.

Kakuta, saying, “Kaku-chan!” It turns out the two have known each other for some time, and Mr.

Kakuta introduces him by saying, “He’s the first person in Japan who used Satofuru.” In response, Mr.

Iizuka bluntly remarks, “Doesn’t that sound fake?” The whole thing—especially the indescribable look on Endo’s face afterward—makes for a wonderfully surreal and addictive commercial.

Mold-Prevention Bathroom Muwender: “The One That Makes You Feel You Did Something” EditionNobuhiro Sakuma

KINCHO Mold Prevention Muen-da Bath CM “The Guy Who Acts Like He Did It” Version 30 Seconds

This commercial opens with producer Nobuyuki Sakuma—who has long supported the TV industry behind the scenes—saying that invisible household chores are part of his backstage job.

It highlights how using Mold-Preventing Muender makes it easy to stop mold from forming.

Sakuma speaks with a pretty smug look on his face, but because the product is almost too effortless, the ad ultimately earns its title: “The Guy Who Acts Like He Did Something.” It’s a calm yet distinctly humorous and entertaining spot.
