Video Killed The Radio StarThe Buggles

This song was used in the 2007 commercial for “Ours” featuring Ai Kato.
I think it was chosen because there’s a part of the lyrics that sounds like “awa-awa,” but the official lyric is “Oh-a oh.”
A Naked Heartaimyon
This commercial, featuring Koji Yakusho and Hana Sugisaki as plumbers, is for Suntory’s BOSS coffee.
After finishing a job, they head to their usual vending machine to take a break—only to find that it’s gone.
A wistful flashback shows how they always bought their coffee there, creating a poignant mood, but it turns out the machine is simply being replaced with a new one.
The ad reminds us that vending machines don’t just sell drinks—they’re always there, supporting us in our everyday lives.
From the Northern Country ~From the Distant Land~sadamasashi

This song was used in the 2016 “All-Free” commercial featuring Kuranosuke Sasaki and Hana Kuroki.
It is, as everyone knows, the theme song of the drama From the North Country.
Although it’s an instrumental piece, Sada’s humming is included.
Like the flow of a riverKiyosaku
The “People Working at Festivals” segment is memorable for featuring Kenji Sakaguchi making yakisoba at a summer festival food stall.
The way he enjoys a beer so deliciously after finishing a hot, hard job is fantastic, isn’t it? Another highlight is the insertion of an animated scene featuring Inspector Zenigata from Lupin the Third.
The BGM uses “Kawa no Nagare no Yō ni,” sung by Kiyosaku, the vocalist of MONGOL800.
It’s an original cover brimming with a ska vibe!
Like the flow of a riverKiyosaku (MONGOL800 / UKULELE GYPSY)
In Suntory Draft Beer’s commercials “Uzuuzu” and “San-nama,” Mone Kamishiraishi appears as a staff member, while Kento Yamazaki, Kenji Sakaguchi, and the duo Oswald appear as customers savoring Suntory Draft Beer.
Both spots feature heartwarming, gently humorous direction that gives you a cozy, feel-good vibe.
The BGM is “Kawa no Nagare no Yō ni,” sung by Kiyosaku, the vocalist of MONGOL800.
It’s one of Hibari Misora’s signature songs, which likens life to the flow of a river, arranged here in an appealing, upbeat ska style.
Sanīdēi Sābisu

This spot, which shows everyone happily drinking together, is a commercial for Suntory’s Kyogetsu Green.
In the “A Pinch of Sansho” version, it depicts a home party and introduces tasty ways to enjoy Kyogetsu Green; in the “Good Drinks Are Fun Drinks” version, it shows everyone having a great time and also includes a performance scene by Sunny Day Service.
The background music features a track by Sunny Day Service.
It’s an upbeat, refreshing song, and many listeners may want to hear the full version; however, as of the commercial’s release, the track has not yet been officially released.
Original songYuga
This is a gentle, heartwarming commercial for Suntory’s craft whiskey, Maker’s Mark, depicting a father and son’s connection.
In it, the son, Shun Oguri, gives Maker’s Mark to his father, Shohei Hino, for Father’s Day, leading into a scene where they enjoy it together.
Their relaxed conversation, combined with the tender music, conveys a sense of family bonds and warm trust.
