KINCHO Mushi-Konaazu Premium: “It really works on mosquitoes” / “Just hang it right there”Masami Nagasawa, Ayumu Nakajima

Many of you probably remember Masami Nagasawa’s intense Kansai dialect—it really leaves an impression, doesn’t it? Hearing the way she delivers her lines might even make you wonder, “Is she actually from Kansai?” The way she rapidly fires off Kansai-ben at Ayumu Nakajima is striking, and the contrast in their energy levels is another highlight.
It packs a punch and is so funny that you can’t help but want to watch it over and over again.
KINCHO Mosquito-Repelling Spray: “Paper Mosquito” EditionDiane
In the commercial for the mosquito-eliminating spray, “Paper Mosquito,” the comedy duo Diane appear in black outfits, giving off a cool vibe.
While we tend to think mosquitoes are always flying around, Yusuke reveals that they actually spend most of their time resting on walls and ceilings.
That’s why the correct way to deal with them is to spray the product on walls and ceilings in advance.
Tsuda quietly nodding along to Yusuke’s narration also leaves an impression, and the duo’s unusually suave demeanor creates a surreal, laugh-inducing contrast.
KINCHO Mushi-Konaazu “Undefended” VersionMasami Nagasawa, Taiga Nakano

This commercial warns that even highly effective Mushikonaz (insect repellent) won’t work if it’s past its expiration date.
Masami Nagasawa appears before Taiga Nakano and asks whether the Mushikonaz hanging in his window has expired.
She then explains, in Kansai dialect, just how defenseless it is to have an expired Mushikonaz hanging in the window.
Many viewers probably couldn’t help but laugh at Nagasawa’s energetic delivery.
Itoham The GRAND Alt-Bayern “GAB Don” EditionKazunari Ninomiya

In this commercial featuring a dish made with Alto Bayern sausages, Kazuya Ninomiya introduces the “GAB Don,” conveying its bold deliciousness through his expressions.
Because it’s simple, the short video clearly shows how to make it, and the depiction of the ingredients bouncing conveys a sense of excitement.
The happy smile when he takes a bite also suggests just how much potential Alto Bayern has to offer.
Aflac ALL-in Plus A Letter from Aflac Episode 16: “Hot Spring Inn”Sho Sakurai, Kazuki Iio, Mari Hamada

It’s a quirky story where Sho Sakurai suddenly shows up to a couple at a ryokan and recommends they review their insurance.
The key point is that he brings up insurance proposals in a situation where they don’t want to think about anything extra—like during a trip—conveying how easy it is to proceed with a review even then.
With Kazuki Iio’s catchphrases and Mari Hamada’s pointed remarks, the piece creates a comedic vibe while also conveying the positive feelings that insurance can bring.

Aflac Medical Insurance EVER Simple “Maruko: Other families are other families; ours is ours” Version

This is a commercial that expresses the anxiety of not knowing which insurance to choose—or what everyone else is doing—through the lighthearted atmosphere of the anime Chibi Maruko-chan.
When the mother wonders what others are doing, Maruko echoes the phrase she always hears, “Other families are other families; ours is ours,” and the mother almost finds herself convinced.
From there, the ad transitions to actual data and proposes starting by considering an affordable insurance plan.
The relaxed tone helps convey the sense of ease and accessibility.
Aflac Medical Insurance EVER Simple: “Maruko, Greedy for Toppings” Edition

This commercial depicts the idea that, just as ramen feels better with added toppings, it’s nice to be able to add the coverage you want to insurance.
Through the interaction between Maruko and her father at a ramen shop, it conveys the joy of adding toppings.
From there, it transitions to adding desired benefits to a health insurance plan, and by explaining it in a light, easy manner, it also expresses how simple it is to add on coverage.
