Mihomi KOKKO Co., Ltd. “Strawberry Kokko” Version

This is a commercial for Cocco, a popular confection from Shizuoka Prefecture.
The classic version features yellow cake filled with white milk cream, but this ad introduces the strawberry flavor.
The commercial, featuring the original character Ichigo Cocco-chan dancing, is so cute you’ll want to watch it over and over.
Numazu Uogashi Sushi: “Unagi” Edition

This is a commercial for Numazu Uogashi Sushi, a local sushi chain in Shizuoka Prefecture.
If you’re from Shizuoka, it’s probably a familiar spot.
This CM introduces their Unagi Fair, featuring scenes of eel grilling over charcoal and plenty of mouthwatering, appetizing visuals you won’t want to miss!
Shizuoka Shimbun: ‘Parakeet-Style Shizuoka Shimbun’ Edition

This is a Shizuoka Shimbun commercial that aired around 2009.
It’s a humorous ad introducing a fictional service where a parrot reads out the day’s news every morning.
In the commercial, it’s presented as scheduled to start in 2030, but apparently a smartphone app actually came out in 2015.

For residents of Shizuoka Prefecture, the commercials for Entetsu Store—a supermarket chain centered in Shizuoka—are very familiar.
In the 2024 “Procurement” version, the ad follows the sourcing of fresh fish sold at Entetsu Store.
It really conveys that you can buy fresh, delicious fish there.
Shōan

This is the commercial jingle for Kane-An that airs on Shizuoka FM Broadcasting, an FM radio station in Shizuoka Prefecture.
Speaking of Kane-An, it’s a soba chain with locations mainly in Shizuoka Prefecture, as well as in the Kanto and Tokai regions.
The lyrics, which highlight the deliciousness of their signature sakura shrimp soba, are memorable, and the laid-back melody sticks in your head after just one listen.

Hachiban Ramen

Founded in 1967 in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Hachiban Ramen is beloved as a soul food of the locals.

Kani Dōraku

This commercial promotes the appeal of Kani Doraku, an Osaka-based chain that serves fresh, delicious crab dishes.
