Toppo “Slot” version

When you think of Toppo commercials, that catchphrase “Yappa kore da ne— Lotte no Toppo!” instantly plays in your head with the melody, right? And when you think of Toppo, you think of Tomoya Nagase.
In the “Slot Machine” ad, Nagase’s face spins on a slot machine, and when it stops, three Nagases start chatting.
They try to line up Toppo’s defining feature, “filled with chocolate to the very end,” but in the end unexpected versions of “-tappuri” (meaning “plenty of”) pop up, like “plenty of romance” and “plenty of reality” (lol).

Nestlé KitKat Kit, “Sakura Bloom for Success” Exam Student Support: Message Sakura Edition

This is a commercial that shows what the “Message Sakura,” where encouraging messages for exam-takers are projected, looks like.
With the theme “Kit, Sakura Saku yo,” powerful messages appear alongside beautiful visuals of cherry blossoms, and as people add their own messages, you can feel the chain of support.
Amplifying these powerful words of encouragement is AI’s song “Wareba.” The title corresponds to “whatever,” carrying a forward-looking will like “anything” or “anyway.” Including the lyrics and sound, it conveys both warmth and strength—a song that makes you feel the power to open up the future.
Pocky: “Everybody Pocky” Version

Many people probably first learned about Shiori Kutsuna through this commercial.
Glico’s Pocky Chocolate “Everybody Pocky” ad is the kind of spot that instantly brightens your mood just by watching it.
I’ve heard the request behind producing this CM carried the wish to “energize and brighten today’s Japan,” and it really sticks in your memory as a commercial that lifts your spirits and raises the excitement.
And the song “Joyful,” one of Ikimonogakari’s signature tracks and the CM’s theme, fits it perfectly.
Milky “Soothing Milky” Version

When you’re tired from work or studying, or after you’ve overworked your brain, you suddenly crave something sweet, right? This is the perfect scene for the long-loved candy Milky, in the commercial “Healing Milky.” It stars actress Mone Kamishiraishi.
Just as she takes a short break at the office and pops a Milky into her mouth, she’s enveloped by a mysterious, fluffy presence and whisked away into a healing space…
It’s a visual that clearly captures that moment when you eat something sweet while you’re tired and you can almost feel some happy substance being released in your brain (lol).
Meltykiss: “This year, too, a melt-in-your-mouth like snow.”

Meiji’s winter-only chocolate, Meltykiss.
It’s been on sale since 1992, and Yui Aragaki has appeared in the commercials as the image character since 2011.
With this “This year, too, it melts in your mouth like snow.” edition, it marks her 11th consecutive year in the CM.
The commercial links Yui Aragaki’s clear, pure presence with the chill of winter, yet warms you from the bottom of your heart—no wonder it’s popular with both men and women.
This CM surely made many people feel relieved and even crack a smile.
And it definitely makes you want to have at least one during the winter, doesn’t it?
Meiji GalboMika Nakashima

In the Garbo commercial that aired in 2003, Mika Nakashima appeared, and her song was used as the background music.
The song was “Yuki no Hana,” released the same year—a straightforward love ballad known as one of her signature works.
In the commercial, Nakashima and her boyfriend are getting cozy inside a Ferris wheel gondola, but they’re interrupted by a “smooch-smooch!” sound coming from the neighboring gondola.
When they look, it turns out the Garbo chocolates are being slurped, and the punchline is that it’s not about kissing—it’s an appeal to how the chocolate is soaked in.
Haagen-Dazs The Milk: “First Richness”Kia Nakanishi

This is a commercial introducing Häagen-Dazs The Milk, which boasts a rich, creamy milk flavor.
It highlights that it’s the most intense among Häagen-Dazs’s milk-based ice creams to date, building anticipation.
The background music features ena mori’s 2024 track “Trust Me,” a stylish song characterized by its striking bassline and snare, complemented by ena mori’s clear, airy vocals.
