It was released in 1989 as Princess Princess’s seventh single.

It topped the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart and became a million seller, and is known as Princess Princess’s biggest hit.

In 2014, it was used as the commercial song for Kao’s Sofina Aube Couture.

The Toilet GodUemura Kana

It’s the lead track included on Kana Uemura’s fifth mini-album, “Watashi no Kakeratachi,” released in 2010.

The song, based on Uemura’s real-life experiences, portrays conversations she had with her grandmother while she was alive.

It became a major hit, winning both the Excellence Award and the Lyrics Award at the 52nd Japan Record Awards, and in 2011 it was used as the theme song for Kao’s “Toilet Quickle: Beppin-san Edition” commercial.
