KOSE’s All-Time Popular Commercial Songs: Cosmetics CM Tracks [2026] (21–30)

BIOLLIS 'A Walk in the Forest' Edition

butterflyReira

In BIOLLIS’s “Forest Walk” commercial featuring Yui Aragaki, the famous children’s song “Butterfly” is used.

Singer Leila performs it with English lyrics.

It’s arranged so stylishly—and so differently from the “Butterfly” you listened to or sang as a child—that you can’t tell what song it is at first listen.

It could even be mistaken for a brand-new Western pop song; it’s a track that completely overturns the image of “Butterfly” you’ve had until now.

VEIL of Flashing Light -Hikari-MAX

Released in 1998 as MAX’s ninth single.

With Terukazu Yokoyama handling composition and arrangement, it’s a dance track infused with Latin rhythms.

It reached No.

5 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart.

The song was featured in a KOSE “VISEE” commercial, and is notable for MAX’s characteristically sharp, dynamic choreography.

KOSÉ SEKKISEI: 'i Bright. More translucent than snow.'

iNumber_i

This song, included on the 2024 release “No.O -ring-,” is a ballad that carries a message of savoring the small happiness close at hand without being greedy—saying that as long as I can be with you, just a handful of happiness is enough.

Alongside those warm lyrics, its mid-tempo progression and the inclusion of brass create a charming, blissful atmosphere.

The song was used in 2025 for SEKKISEI’s commercial “i Bright.

Clearer than snow.” The three members of Number_i also appear, dressed in pure white outfits, and their walk through a snowy landscape leaves a striking impression.

Please stay a woman with color (vibrance).Za Taigāsu

Released in 1982 as The Tigers’ 17th single overall.

It served as the spring image song for KOSÉ Cosmetics, and The Tigers also appeared in the TV commercial.

The lyrics were written by Yū Aku, and this became The Tigers’ first song in 12 years to rank in the Oricon Top 10.

Suncut Sunscreen Spray “Sunscreen Spray No. 1” Version

Serious (Maji) SUNSHINEHey! Say! JUMP

This song is a commercial jingle written specifically for a TV ad.

Since there’s no official note saying it was custom-written, I interpret it as essentially a tie-in track.

However, because they are KOSE’s image ambassadors, I see it as a release focused on matching the commercial’s image.

In fact, with such a lineup of handsome members promoting it, I think many people naturally end up paying attention to the ad.

The dance performed in the commercial—could it be choreographed to evoke sunscreen that protects you from UV rays? Doesn’t that subtly come across?

It was released in 2011 as Mai Kuraki’s 35th single.

The song was used in a KOSE “ESPRIQUE Precious” commercial, with the lyrics written by Mai Kuraki herself.

It reached No.

4 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart, and is a slightly bittersweet medium-tempo tune that sings of the frustration of unrequited love and the hope to keep moving forward.

TOKIO EXPRESSHayami Yū

It was released in 1987 as Yū Hayami’s 22nd single.

The song was used for KOSÉ Cosmetics’ autumn campaign, and it led to her being chosen for three consecutive KOSÉ campaign songs.

Yū Hayami, who projected a lively, energetic yet intelligent image, enjoyed immense popularity among men at the time.
