Daigas Group Sumika-ta Service “Overview” VersionRozan

This is a Daigas Group commercial introducing a service that quickly responds to common troubles in everyday life.
It shows the duo Rozan rushing to the scene in urgent situations such as water leaks, broken faucets, and clogged toilets.
The service covers a wide range of home maintenance needs, from air conditioner repairs and light bulb replacements to re-papering walls and replacing doors.
It conveys that they are a dependable ally for your home, handling everything from everyday inconveniences to major tasks that keep your life comfortable.
The commercial clearly and accessibly communicates the appeal of a service that supports you so you can live with peace of mind.
Asahi Cosmetic Surgery

For people living in the Kansai area, this is probably one of those commercials you can’t help but want to sing along to—right up there with “Kansai Denki Hōan Kyōkai” and “Piano uttetchōdai.” It’s the ad for Asahi Cosmetic Surgery, a cosmetic surgery clinic with locations in Osaka, Nara, Wakayama, and elsewhere.
It’s that song you end up memorizing without even trying.
And while the tune is the same, the visuals people recall may differ—some remember the animated version, others the one featuring the clinic director.
By the way, depending on the era, the vibe of the song stays the same, but the melody is slightly different.
Taihei Construction Industry

If you watch Hanshin baseball broadcasts, you might find this familiar.
It’s a commercial for Taihei Construction Industry Co., Ltd., whose headquarters are in Kita Ward, Osaka City.
Because it’s so simple, once you see it, it sticks in your head.
There are several versions of the commercial, and they’re compiled on the official website, so if you’re thinking, “What was that like again?”, be sure to check it out.
By the way, the person who appears in the main role is the company president, Koji Kato.
ABC Housing

This commercial perfectly matches a genuine country-style jingle with a nostalgic anime vibe.
If you look closely, you’ll notice an unusual, eye-catching scene: taking a cat for a walk on a leash.
In another version of the ad, the CM song was written and composed by Susumu Sugawara of Billy BanBan, showing ABC Housing’s dedication to its background music.
The exceptionally peaceful country music and the cute art style are truly soothing!
Akamari Five-Color Dorayaki

Speaking of the commercial with the middle-aged man with purple hair in a red happi coat singing and playing the piano, it has to be Akemaru’s Five-Color Dorayaki, right? That man is actually named Aketarō, and in fact he was Katsuhiko Hōjō, Akemaru’s second president.
And the song featured in the commercial is titled “Aka(ne) no Jinsei Ōenka” (“Akemaru’s Life Fight Song”), which was actually released on CD in 2004! The man called Aketarō, the song, and the children in colorful full-body tights that seem to represent the five colors of the dorayaki—all the elements in that commercial really left an impression.
