Kondō Sanko

The commercial for Kondo Sanko Co., Ltd., with its catchy slogan “We’ll lend you anything,” really sticks in your head.
The company is located in Minami Ward, Nagoya, and operates a wide-ranging rental business.
In Kondo Sanko’s ad, the unique and amusing character “Kashimasu Musume,” who plays maracas and the shamisen, really stands out.
It’s probably a parody of the comedy trio Kashimashi Musume, who were active in the 1960s! Thanks to that witty touch, this unique commercial is extremely well-known in the Tokai area.
Snow Brand Megmilk Katsugen: Drink to win the match! “For you, too” version

This is a commercial for Soft Katsugen, a lactic acid bacteria drink that’s especially famous among Hokkaido’s local beverages.
Playing on the product name “Katsugen,” it rhythmically promotes it as a good-luck charm, set to the classic 3-3-7 cheer beat.
It’s a CM that sticks with you after just one viewing.

In this version, two women jump while conveying the shop’s appeal.
The atmosphere is so fun that watching it makes you want to visit.
Shizuoka Shimbun: ‘Parakeet-Style Shizuoka Shimbun’ Edition

This is a Shizuoka Shimbun commercial that aired around 2009.
It’s a humorous ad introducing a fictional service where a parrot reads out the day’s news every morning.
In the commercial, it’s presented as scheduled to start in 2030, but apparently a smartphone app actually came out in 2015.

It really conveys that you can buy fresh, delicious fish there.
St. John’s ChurchHelen Nishikawa, Kanoko Nishikawa

A commercial familiar to people in Kansai featuring Kiyoshi Nishikawa’s wife Helen and their daughter Kanoko.
It evokes a sense of nostalgia for the era when many women dreamed of weddings held in beautiful churches with luxurious wedding dresses.
The softly hazy visuals create an atmosphere that invites you into a dream world.
In contrast, the playful, down-to-earth banter between the mother and daughter is fun and memorable.
It’s a nostalgic commercial that everyone can feel both affection for and admiration toward!
QT Mobile “Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte” VersionHiroshi Abe

This is a commercial for QT Mobile, the MVNO of the Kyushu Electric Power Group.
In this “Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte” version featuring actor Hiroshi Abe, he appears as a teacher.
Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte is the capital of Sri Lanka, and in the CM there’s a scene where the students repeat after Abe as he says it.
Then he pulls out another map and says the line, “QT Mobile is a great deal,” forcing in a QT Mobile promo in a somewhat over-the-top, surreal twist.
It’s a humorous spot that’s sure to make you chuckle.
