Sapporo Senshuan Yama-Oyaji 2024

This commercial expresses the bear depicted on Sapporo Senshuan’s “Yama-Oyaji” in a pop-style animation.
The unique design—a bear wearing skis and carrying a salmon on its back—comes across as fun thanks to the cute animation.
Further highlighting this pop imagery is the original “Yama-Oyaji” song performed by YUKI.
The lyrics are simple, merely describing the visuals, but combined with the light, breezy sound, they convey a bright, cheerful mood.
Shōan

This is the commercial jingle for Kane-An that airs on Shizuoka FM Broadcasting, an FM radio station in Shizuoka Prefecture.
Speaking of Kane-An, it’s a soba chain with locations mainly in Shizuoka Prefecture, as well as in the Kanto and Tokai regions.
The lyrics, which highlight the deliciousness of their signature sakura shrimp soba, are memorable, and the laid-back melody sticks in your head after just one listen.
I bet many Shizuoka residents can hum this tune.

Sapporo Classic: “Hokkaido and 40 Years”Taka and Toshi

This commercial both celebrates the 40th anniversary of Sapporo Classic and conveys gratitude and affection for Hokkaido.
It depicts people living in Hokkaido working hard, followed by scenes of meals and get-togethers; by featuring Sapporo Classic in those moments, it clearly highlights how beloved the beer is in Hokkaido.
The song that overlays the gentle scenes of the people of Hokkaido is “Koko de, Nomou yo.” performed by the duo Taka and Toshi.
With its calm sound and softly layered vocals, it gives the impression of looking back on fond memories, and the lyrics also convey a deep love for Hokkaido.
Satsuma Family “Music Festival WALK INN FES! Hosted by Taichi Noma” Edition

In the Satsumaya fishcake commercial that has aired since July 2023, footage from the music festival WALK INN FES! held in Kagoshima Prefecture is shown.
While the video captures the festival’s lively atmosphere, an interview with the event’s organizer, Taichi Noma, plays in the background, in which he shares his thoughts about the music festival.
Yotsuba Dairy Industry: “Together with Dairy Farmers, Now and Always”

This commercial shows the scenery of Hokkaido, where Yotsuba Milk was born, conveying love and gratitude toward its hometown.
It mainly features scenes of dairy farmers, and through depictions like sunlight in the snow and rising steam, it clearly delivers a warm feeling.
The song that further accentuates the gentle atmosphere of the footage is Ayako Ikeda’s “Hikari no Ito.” Built on a calm, piano-centered sound with a soaring vocal layered on top, it also conjures the image of Hokkaido’s vast land, doesn’t it?
Kani Dōraku

This commercial promotes the appeal of Kani Doraku, an Osaka-based chain that serves fresh, delicious crab dishes.
It features close-up shots of various crab dishes, letting viewers practically taste them as they watch thick, tender meat flake apart.
The jingle is also a key element that made Kani Doraku famous: written and composed by Taro Kida and performed by Duke Aces, its simple phrases clearly convey the brand’s charm.
The ad emphasizes the chain’s ability to deliver high-quality crab cuisine at scale and leaves the impression of Osaka’s strong dedication to crab.
Gifu Hatsuzushi

Gifu Hatsuzushi is a sushi restaurant that began in 1957 in Yanagase, Gifu Prefecture, proudly introducing the original “10-yen sushi.” It was born from the hope that local people could enjoy sushi—once a pricey, hard-to-access luxury—more casually.
While striving to be a beloved neighborhood sushi shop, it has steadfastly upheld its belief in carefully crafted sushi made by skilled chefs.
As a restaurant that serves the bounty of the sea, its cheerful commercials featuring the folk tale character Urashima Taro convey the brand’s concept of approachable, easygoing dining.
